Information processed by the app
Monedario processes information that users enter or choose to import, including transactions, categories, recurring rules, templates, workspace settings, and optional transaction notes. The app may also process receipt or transaction-document images that the user explicitly selects for scanning.
Monedario does not use this information for advertising or tracking.
Local storage and iCloud
App data is stored locally on the user’s device. When iCloud is available, Apple CloudKit may synchronize personal workspaces through the user’s private iCloud database. Users may explicitly invite other people to a shared workspace; participants can then access the information included in that workspace according to the permissions selected by the owner.
Personal workspaces are not automatically shared with other Monedario users. Apple processes iCloud data under Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
Sign in with Apple
Sign in with Apple is optional and is used to provide a recognizable display identity for shared-workspace activity. Monedario stores the resulting identifier and available name or email securely on the device. Monedario does not operate an account server or use these details for advertising.
When a display name is attached to activity in a shared workspace, invited participants may see that name.
Receipt and document scanning
Images selected for scanning are processed using Apple’s on-device Vision technologies to propose transaction information. Monedario does not upload those images to a developer-operated server. Users review proposed values before saving them.
Analytics and diagnostics
Optional usage analytics consist only of local counters and dates stored on the device. They are not sent automatically to the developer.
Users may choose to create and share a diagnostic report when requesting support. The automatically generated diagnostic report contains app version, build, device and operating-system information, iCloud availability, synchronization event status, and storage status. It intentionally excludes transaction amounts, balances, notes, categories, dates, attachments, participant identities, and workspace names. The report leaves the device only when the user chooses a sharing destination.
Text that a user voluntarily writes in a support request is included in that request.
Exports and imports
Users can export workspace data in formats such as JSON, CSV, and PDF. Exported files are controlled by the user and may contain financial information. Monedario does not choose their destination. Users should store and share exported files carefully.
Face ID
Face ID is optional and is used only to control local access to the app. Biometric matching is performed by the operating system; Monedario does not receive or store biometric data.
Data retention and deletion
Local data remains on the device until the user edits it, deletes it, removes the app, or uses Monedario’s deletion controls. Data synchronized through iCloud is retained according to the user’s iCloud account and sharing state. Workspace owners can remove participants or stop sharing, and participants can leave shared workspaces.
The app provides export and deletion controls in Settings. Removing the app from one device may not delete information already synchronized to iCloud or retained on another device.
Third parties
Monedario uses Apple platform services such as iCloud, CloudKit, Sign in with Apple, notifications, widgets, Shortcuts, Face ID, and on-device Vision. It does not contain advertising SDKs or third-party behavioral analytics services. ZIPFoundation is used locally to create and read archive files and does not receive user information.
Children
Monedario is not directed specifically to children and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated service.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Monedario’s features or data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
